Fat Chocobo is a Summon in Final Fantasy VII Remake. Fat Chocobo is a pleasingly plump summon recreated in virtual reality. It is the manifestation of the legendary chocobo, a symbol of fertility and good fortune. Fat chocobos appear in many a beloved fairy tale.. In the remake, summons are called and will fight by your side, they cannot be controlled but if the player's ATB gauge fills, they can use it to issue the summon to use one of its abilities. Once the summon's gauge is depleted, they will unleash their signature or ultimate attack before disappearing from the battlefield.

Kaboom: Cause a massive shockwave. Significantly increases stagger.
Bombs Away: Throws one or more giant bombs that create large explosions.
Fat Chocobo Signature Attack
Once the summon gauge is depleted, a summon will execute its signature attack that inflicts a significant amount of damage before leaving the battlefield.
- Kerplunk: Ultimate attack where moogles drop the fat chocobo onto the enemies for non-elemental physical damage.
