Combat Simulation: Fat Chocobo is a Battle Intel quest in Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Combat Simulation: Fat Chocobo unlocks the Fat Chocobo Materia. Completing Battle Intel quests unlock new Materia which can be purchased from Chadley.
Combat Simulation: Fat Chocobo Description
- Data compiled from monsters has resulted in the successful reproduction of a fat chocobo, the spirit often associated with fertility and harvests. Combat behavior has yet to be tested. Engage in simulated battle to gauge performance.
- Unlocked after completing the following Battle Intel:
- Speak to Chadley and choose VR Missions.
- Chadley can be found in Sector 7 Slums, Sector 5 Slums, Wall Market, and at the cafeteria in Sector 0 - Shinra Electric Power Company.
- The Fat Chocobo is pretty much immobile the entire battle. It doesn't have any weakness but you can poke it from afar with Spells. You can also equip the Poison Materia and use Bio against it to inflict Poison against it.
- It will spawn other enemies during the battle, when this happens, make sure you kill them first before shifting your attention towards the Fat Chocobo.
