Strategy Writeup
Abzu will be joined by Abzu Shoats throughout the battles and these will keep respawning. Abzu will use lots of physical attacks during this fight, so Cloud's Punisher counters are highly effective here. Abzu is still weak to fire magic and Ifrit will deal a lot of damage to it. Abzu's Pounce attack can be blocked and its Charge attack can be countered. Abzu will repeatedly use Blackwater Blast during this battle, so the player needs to keep an eye on the pipes around the arena and be ready to dodge when the water starts pouring out.
